I guess so, never really thought of it like that. We never have desserts unless we have guests. And then I struggle to fit one in so maybe you're right!0

I don't have desserts of course, ahem!
but the kids sometimes do
Also my pancakes have been known to be a bit on the stingy side - I like to think of them as petite, lol!

Pancakes are just for pud for us - but I have just rememerbed I have a jar of cherries so gonna have to have our own version of Little Chef cherry pancakes - think I will get some icecream to go with them too!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

made pancakes with six year old granddaughters today as our Tuesday Cookery Session! they made enough batter for six each and I did the frying and tossing, then they sugared and lemoned them - well one had lemon and the other added sultanas to hers! then I wrapped them in foil and they took them home to have after supper! Along with what was left of my banana bread which they decided was very scrummy! got a feeling thats going to be the result of next Tuesdays Cookery Session!
Me and OH wont be having pancakes............neither of us are keen on them!0 -
I love pancakes but I don't think I could eat a whole meal of them without being sick! We have normal dinner then lots of pancakes as desert. Probably 4 or 5 each, with lemon and sugar, yes we are greedy guts but it's only one day.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
Just 2 pancakes, as the main meal. No starters, nothing else. That's all.
As a kid I remember having 3-4.0 -
Since pancakes are pretty filling and starchy I stick with that as the meal. I love pancakes, but I'm not sure I can handle a big stack of pancakes and tons of toppings! I will keep them plain, whole wheat, and warm

We had savoury ones as a main course filled with hoisin chicken and salad.
Then we had sweet ones with a choice sugar and lemon, nutella, maple syrup or honey. Here I go again on my own....0
