Shudoo problems

Hi,

I ordered a pair of boots from shudoo exactly 3 weeks ago. About a week ago I checked the status of the order and it said processing.

I emailed them and they replied saying it will be with me in the enxt few days and they are having problems with their warehouse and I cannot cancel the order and get a refund.

I have checked again today and it still says order processing. Not even dispatched.

Am I entitled to my money back before they are dispached? Do they have to deliver the good within a certain amount of time?

Thanks

if ordered online, then under DSR you can cancel at anytime up to 7 working days AFTER delivery.

Seeing as they haven't arrived, they must legally refund you both the cost and the P+P you paid within 30 days

If and when they arrive, refuse them at the door. If you accept them, then you must send them back
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

I am in the same boat, they have told me it is due to warehouse relocation.
On the email I received last week they advised me I could not cancel the order only refuse the delivery, is this correct?

Page 22 of the OFT's Guide to Distance Selling Regulations says...
Can a consumer cancel an order before they receive the goods or where goods are lost in transit?
3.35 Yes. Where the DSRs give consumers rights to cancel, this right is unconditional. If consumers cancel before they have received the goods you must refund the total price of the goods, including any delivery charges. Consumers who have cancelled under the DSRs may refuse to accept delivery of the goods. Refusal in such a situation cannot be treated as a breach of contract.

Page 20 of that guide tells you how to cancel.

Yes sounds like we're in the same boat!

The problem is, is that we work so it's likely I won't be in to refuse delivery. I also don't see why I should have to pay for delivery either to send them back.

    When did you order?

What if they haven't arrived in the 30 days? It already 21 days. I will never order from them again. They should have informed customers of this problem before they could order.

Please read the above posts. You CAN cancel now and are liable for NO costs.

This is my worry also, I will be sending them an email quoting the above and requesting they do not attempt to deliver.

I have also being reading another thread with many people getting a refund after returning items to Shudoo
  • bought some classic tall boots from Shudoo just before xmas and one of the labels is already fraying.. am concerned about sending them back as it seems customer service leaves a lot to be desired.. and they dont do exchanges.. I may end up paying full price as I used a voucher code when I originally bought.

Has anyone ever had any repairs done to ugss , its just a label do you think someone can jsut sew it back on ?.. dont know of a needle that could get through that sheepskins and suede though !!

Well the boots finally came today! I also emailed telling them not to attempt delivery but they told me it was too late even though the order hadn't been dispatched!

We received the dispatch email after the boots had been delivered too?!

Anyway I refuse to pay for return delivery as I tried to cancel this order two weeks ago. I have emailed stating this and awaiting reply.

Not sure about sewing the label back on, but it should not be coming off so soon. I would email them and see what they say.

I eventually ordered another pair from rubbersole last week as got fed up of waiting. They are absolutely fantastic, free next day delivery and brilliant customer service.

I ordered a pair of Ugg boots on 16th Feb, and am still waiting - I have e-mailed them on about 10 occasions and called them about 5 times, and each time they say the warehouse delays were over and deliveries would be sorted in the next few days!! That was 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for the boots! I have been told that I can't get a refund from them until they receive the boots back - but I can't send the boots back until they arrive!! I have been told to refuse the package when its delivered and ask the courier to return to sender, and then I will get a refund - BUT I can't refuse the package because it still hasn't been delivered!! I got the dispatch e-mail yesterday and my order now says complete on their website, but when I contacted the delivery company, the tracking number I was given by Shudoo isn't correct and they have no record of my parcel.
Again I called them and they say the warehouse is run by a different company and they can't recall orders once they've gone through.
I am now going to make a claim on my credit card - I have had to buy another pair of boots from the Ugg Store, as they were my daughters birthday present, and she didn't get a present on her birthday, so neither she nor I are very happy.
:mad:Whatever you do - DON'T BUY FROM SHUDOO - customer service is awful and they steal money:mad:!!!
