tricky solar pressure vessel!

hello.

I had a look at a solar install today where the cleint is complaining of eratic pressure on the gauge, as i watched the system, the pressure dipped between 0.5 bar and 6 bar.

i checekd the pressure vessel, this had 1.2 bar pressure(system, pressure released). i also re-flushed the system for air and very little air was found!

the system is a std two pannel system (low water content) with approx 8mtrs 16mm twin pipe flexi pipe, the pressure vessel is a 12ltr size.

pump working ok, when flushed no resistance on the system was noted and flushed through at aprrox 2bar, just for good measure i changed the gauge, but seemed to make little difference?!

any ideas??
