national census - support to complete form

Just thought I'd let you know that if you have received the national census form and have difficulty completing it due to a disability you can get support from their helpline: 03000201101 (england) or 030002011030 (scotland)

I called and they are arranging someone to come to my house to complete it for me. There is also an online version.

It is a legal requirement, up to a £1000 fine if you dont fill it in and return it...........

They can knock - we don't answer the door unless we know who it is coming.

Also we can't fill in a shredded form anyway.

Pensioners ahve served time before today for not paying council tax.

So when youre all stressed out and frightened and being chased for your census form you'll be coming on here crying bo0 hoo
about how you cant afford your fine and how can you stay out of prison. I bet you take your money from the government without a backward glance every week though eh.
For the sake of a few minutes, (i filled mine out in less than 10) well, i cant believe people can be so silly (for want of a better word)

Just to remind you again, it is up to a thousand pounds fine if you dont return it duly completed.

I don't like forms, no one on this forum likes forms, I put my number in the online one, I did'nt have to sharpen my Biro - it took about 4 minutes and sorted, it even gave me a receipt number.

Except for religious question, I can't remember what sort of questions were asked the last time...it was a long time ago.

Does one have to disclose illness/diagnosis?

- no, but pay attention to No: 13 question .. .. How is your health in general

- and faith, if I REM correctly is finally voluntary rather than compulsory.
