Hammy died yesterday :(

Aaaaaaawwww (((((hugs)))))) rip lil hammy, it is heartbreaking i lost my beautiful winter white hamster titch no so long ago, she was fine the night before swinging from her cage like tarzan, we went out for dinner and when we came back she had collapsed over her food bowl, OH put her in her bed and we sat with her, while she fought on to breathe, we stroked her and talked to her letting her know it was ok to leave she'd been the best hammy and she could go now play in the big field in the sky she died shortly after.

It was heartbreaking i cried for ages after, she was one of my furbabies and its most definitely not silly to be upset, thinking of you xxxx

Ours died the 11th of March, she hadn't been herself, we had her to the vets the week before and she was on anti biotics as she had cut her mouth with her teeth, they suddenly seemed to grow as we noticed over the last month or so she was no longer as playful as she used to be, when I cleaned her out she would get back into the cage instead of trying to rip up my carpets!!!!! she was almost two so was a good age. It is heartbreaking, but the advert on the tv, think its for Llyods/ TSB wth the hamster in the goldcage with the swimming pool we say it Toffee in heaven!!
