Compassionate Leave - advice?

Sorry to hear about your loss.
I know that when my Dad died I took 2 weeks off work (paid compassionate leave) and my boss told me to take as much time off as I needed and not to worry about it, so I was allowed to take more time off again but wanted to get back to work for the 'normality'.
So I think it really depends on where you work and your boss etc. This was in a large private sector company.0
