    well we now have a sold sign on the front lawn but still not showing as sold on website but maybe that might get updated at end of day or something. not as worried things could be wrong now. . . .until surveys done etc etc and that'll probably be another thread!!lol

    Two of the three houses I've enquired about this morning (that are up on rightmove and not marked as sold) were apparently sold when I contacted the agents. .

    I may be wrong, but I wondered if it was a way of getting people to contact them; even if a property isn't available, it still reels people in - both vendors and buyers. I was emailed new properties by the agents after my call.

    I find it frustrating as someone who is searching for a house though :( cel x

    i think you could be right we've had the "oh that property is sold but we have a simalar one that may interest you" speech, we had a viewer not too long ago who came to look at our house and then said they were off across the road to view one even though they didn't really want to but had felt obliged to by estate agent.

    one less thing to worry about showing sold now on estate agents website too, will just worry nowabout surveys,valuations etc now lol xx
