Thankyou to poster about tramit wil be the new trams next year may just leave it lol xx
Blackpool Transport are keeping some (not many) of the vintage trams to run on occassions and for private hires so may be worth checking if this is what you want, or LTT have some nice vintage Blackpool Buses for hireDonna

You will still be able to hire the vintage trams for private hire, it's part of the big plan for the new tram tracks - check with Blackpool Transport.Blackpool Transport are keeping some (not many) of the vintage trams to run on occassions and for private hires so may be worth checking if this is what you want, or LTT have some nice vintage Blackpool Buses for hire
The only problem may be whether wedding dates clash with any of the works on the Promenade or tram tracks....0 -
just an update, we went to view a hotel and it wasnt what we expected! Im waiting on hearing from the best western glendower there sending some prices through. I think were definately liking the idea of st annes way or maybe a bit further out so if anyone has any more cheapish venues i would be grateful.

We had our wedding do at the Villa in Wrea Green (6 years ago) I'm not sure how exxy it is now because it has been taken over (by the family that own Rigbys Farmhouse so I bet the food is gorgeous) but at the time we took over the whole hotel/pub/dining bit, it was like having our own country house for the weekend and it was awesome. Another option is Staining Lodge in Blackpool - it's actually owned by an old schoolmate of mine Again I don't know about the cost but it looks lovely! If you google flower design + cobain you'll see the venue & my mate - it won't let me post the link because I'm new :-S0

Did you mean here? They only have a capacity of 70, so not many for an evening reception - unless you go for a marquee.
The Villa (here) was quite pricey when we were looking last year....and has apparently been in a spot of trouble with the local council for the siting of it's "permanent" marquee so don't bank on it being there for ever.0 -

the villa was far too expensive for our budget, staining lodge is gorgeous we were at a wedding there last year but as you say not big enough.
Anyway things are looking up, weve been and see a venue tonight in St annes - Inn on the prom and we love it, even groomzilla (lol), so fingers crossed once ive worked out our whole budget we might be going to book it once we have sorted out the church.
So excited now!!!!0 -
Hey guys, just thought i would keep you updated in our venue search, we have now found two - one i love, one the H2B loves. we are going for a second veiwing tonight at the one i like and taking the sister in law with us for her opinion. Now anyone know of any cheap wedding car hire? The place were going has thier own car company but its charging nearly £1000 for two cars!! Also a cheap photographer - possibly one who just does the images on a CD and we could pick and print out our own if this is cheaper.
