littlemispink ive just looked at the garstang golf club and i think ive fell in love, its just what i wanted hopefully at our kind of price!! Thank you so much for suggesting it. Floss the imperial sounds lovely, ive emailed them to see what thier packages are as i couldnt find anything on thier website, i must have emailed over 10 venues now he he!!
Hope you dont mind if i contact you both later on with regard to your photographers, make up and hairdressers etc. my main concern at the minute is finding a venue which we both love.
My friend handmakes tiaras and wedding jewellry - absolutely gorgeous bespoke items, i wont post her website as i dont wanna seem to be promoting her, so ill be using her for me and my bridesmaids, and ive just starting doing cupcakes and cakes so hopefully ill be able to do my own. Ribby Hall i noticed have a wedding fayre on at the end of March so i think we'll be going to that, but if anyone knows of anymore coming up please let me know.0 -

Our event planner was a lovely lady called Vivien. We just turned up on a wedding fair day & asked for a nosey round the function rooms.0 -

still not heard from the golf club
hopefully something will come today, although we did have a drive down st annes to have a look if we could see any more hotels etc. Has anyone been to a wedding or had thier reception at either the Lindum or Inn on the Prom. These were the two we liked the look of, the Lindum has got back to us and the prices seem really reasonable, lets hope H2B (groomzilla) :rotfl: likes it when we go to have a look round!!

I can highly recommend the best western glendower hotel in St Annes, I got married there in december and the venue could not have been more helpful. They do have a wedding package but we made up our own package. Supplied our own wine and champagne and paid a corkage fee and we had a 3 course meal for £20 per head for adults and £10 per head for children. We had a starter and dessert served to the tables and a carvery for the main course. We had the whole day there the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception.0
