    Good Morning All
:j:beer:Happy Birthday Redruby:beer::j Enjoy your day.

Jaxx - we had that just before Xmas - second time its been stolen

Had a good day yesterday, DD enjoyed her concert. We went to Westfield Shopping Centre to kill time. Its massive, was nice but I wouldn't make a special trip there, also it cost us £7.50 for a little over 2 hours parking

Today am doing paperwork for the next two hours, popping out with OH to get his new pickup sorted (one of the doors needs adjusting) then lunch - his treat - at the Toby Carvery. Once home will be attacking the ironing mountain.

OH & myself won't need dinner tonight so it will be macaroni cheese for the kids.

Thats it for me, both kids have headed out of the door for school so going to have my morning treat which is a mocha coffee with cream :p naughty but nice.

    Have a great day all.x

Happy birthday Redruby - have a fab day

Cloudy here but promises to be nice later.

I'm waiting for my colleague to pick me up. I've borrowed him to drive for me as there is a lot of driving needed today. Need to go from here to pick up work kids (40mins) back to here to pick up tools and stuff we need for this week (40mins), back to drop off tools and kids (40mins) and back here (40mins) for 2pm where I then have to drive (1hr) to my parents village! So he is doing the driving cos it makes me so nauseous, though being a passenger isn't much better!

I have Doctors appointment this afternoon - hence the early finish, so hopefully I will get some drugs to help the vertigo.

After that I'm popping to parents for a cuppa, then to my nan's for early pancake day :D

    Have a good day all

    Happy Birthday Red Ruby--

Quiet day planned here today, a few hours work but a late finish! DD is off school with some kind of virus type cold and an alergy as diagnosed by the doc on friday night--she seems fine now though.

İ am cooling on the idea of buying a holiday home because it would be stretching us in these uncertain times-best sit on my hands and save some pennies(if i can)-a time to consolidate.

Right time to have a shower and face the day.
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.

flutterby, hope you cope with the drive!
julie67 what's zumba like? I sooo wanna try something aerobic other than running, i've been recommended kick boxing and would love to try it but it's a bit scary to jumpr ight into!

I'm just working my way through a huge bowl of banana and nutella porridge before uni. I've got lectures until 3, but will be finishing my assignment until god knows what time so have packed a lunch. It's a shame my new thermos mug isn't here as a 16oz choc-coffee would be the perfect accompniment :D Hopefully be home for 8 so I can clean the kitchen tonight and work on my next assignment.
I think it's time for me to start thinking about growing salad veg in pots again, I could get various things on the go now before I move to my new house in summer. I can't plant them until April though cause I can't take a lettuce on the train to my parents :rotfl:

    Morning all!

Thanks for starting the thread taplady!
    Happy birthday redruby!
    Jaxx

Its absolutely horrid today, yesterday was gorgeous, sun was shining, just fantastic. I managed to walk a mile uphill, first time since June last year, so i'm more chuffed. Next were going to attempt another walk. the boys loved diving everywhere, clambering about rabbit holes and ditches. It as great.

OH has gone out today, armed with c.v's and a pasta salad. He's out looking for a job, so hopefully he will come back with some contact numbers. We scraped the this morning, couldn't believe how much ice was on there.

As for me, have another exam to go to, and then i start my volunteering tomorrow. Just have to sort out loads of forms ready for it. Never know i might get a job out of it, i hope.

Hope your all well. have a good day all x

    Morning all!

Glorious sunshine here, but a definite chill in the air!

OS stuff today will be a general tidy round and S&S, WM, BM, yoghurt and prepping dinner. House is still relatively tidy as we were all away for the weekend. Had a fab time meeting up with girls I went to school with, we get together for a weekend every year, and always have a great time. Kids were at their dad's, except for dd2 who went to see Justin Beiber and stayed with a friend, all had loads of fun!

Need to sort out meal plan pdq, as not quite sure what is for dinner yet!

    Happy birthday RR! xxx

Cuppa and catch up now, have a good day everyone! xx

    Morning all

Happy birthday Redruby, hope you have a great day.

Nice and sunny here today so plan to mow the front lawn

WM & DW are both on, gonna have another cuppa then make the beds, sort DS's bedroom out, think he has more toys on the floor than he has in his toy box..!

Not alot else to do today, got to send DH in the loft to get the V-tech motion console as I have a lady collecting it today.. so that is another £20 in the savings jar.

I have done my shopping list to last us a fortnight, ready for our trip to Mr T's tomorrow and it comes in at £71 so I am more than happy with that as for the last few months I have spent that per week on just food...the £71 includes pet food, our toiletries & cleaning stuff...so really chuffed.

Hope you all have a lovely day.... x

    Happy birthday reduby :)
    Welcome to OS Elacla

Today looks like a not doing much day; we have a viewing on a house at 4pm (which the estate agent says that they have several bids on already so we'd have to offer at least the asking price  :rotfl: - ....rigghhhhttttt. I am not sure that sort of opening gambit will help him with us - because quite frankly, I am not going to be pushed into this on an impulse. It's not like I'm shopping for shoes!)

OH found the parathas I made last night :rotfl: :rotfl: still - there are enough left to have with dinner.

My lemming cake was a disaster - it rose too fast and made a break for the floor of the oven. What was left in the tin was really nice though (custard hides a multitude of sins!) That'll teach me for screwing with a reciepe :rotfl: We have enough cake to keep us in cake the whole week I think; luckily most of it is stuff that wil keep.

Todays using up a random thing target is some of the sago; I have a a curry recipe that uses it so I might try that on a small scale this evening to have with the mung beans and the okra.

I tried making tea with the kola nuts and it was truly minging. have a good day all. cel x

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday Redruby- hope you have a fab day,you deserve it.xx

Very dull here now,but still cold, there was ground frost on the playing field at the back of the house.Going out shortly as DS2 has his appt at the Adult Trauma & Orthopaedic clinic this morning to see if they can help with his disc problem.I thought I'd go down with him in the car as its in town and I need to look for a birthday present for a friend for Friday.

My niece has invited me to a Baby shower her friend is holding for her in a couple of weeks-I dont know what happens at them, thought they were an American thing ? I was going to give her pressies after baby is born-the crochet blanket will need serious work if it's to be ready sooner .She has about 6 weeks to go.

Not decided what form tea will take, but its turkey mince based.I shall be trying hard to resist the l.o apple crumble.

    Have a good day everybody.x
