wow very impressve karb nd since you've given up smoking :T any strategies u can pass on? since giving up smoking I've put a bt on - but had put weight on over winter - but I just can't seem to resist anything that is delish these days....

To be honest the main driving force has been just trying not to spend as much money on food. I'll now just have a sandwich at lunchtime, whereas before I'd probably have accompanied it with crisps, fizzy drink and chocolate bar. That sort of thing.

I've pretty much cut out drinking at home too. Most evenings I used to have a couple of cans of lager in the evenings, which would then give me the munchies, so I'd have some crackers and cheese then maybe a bag of crisps too. Since January, I think there's only been a couple of weekends where I've had a drink at home.

Finally I've taken up running again, so the three things combined have really helped.
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

    Anyway, list for today:
Picked up some free used coffee grounds for garden in *bucks
    Washing on, dry naturally
    Tea from stores
Not smoke - trying again
Move money around accounts, update spreadsheet as I got paid whilst away
    Order highchair, go through quidco
Used old veg at bottom of slow cooker to make gravy
Make my own apple crisps for DD with apples past their best
