Firstly your Hot water tank is insulated.
Secondly you are are not on an Economy 7 tariff. You should check on the comparison websites to get a cheaper tariff than EDF's standard tariff.
Thirdly, as stated above, 24C is very high. That sort of temperature will be the major cause of high bills. Putting it on for an extra hour or so in the evening(at 20C/21C) is far less of a problem than keeping it at 24C.
Do you need 2 hours in the morning? experiment with times.
Shut off bedroom radiators when in living room and turn them on before you go to bed - experiment0
