can I cancel contract
My daughter has an O2 contract which ends in March. However she has gone Peru for 12 months. Would O2 be willing to end her contract early?
Any thoughts or advice on this would be welcome.

They will end the contract but are likely to charge for the remain months line rental. Or try to persuade someone else to take on the line.0

Try using the free minutes to call her in Peru via 0844 numbers. They won't do you any good will gestures as far as I know. You could try totting up the remaining line rental & offer to pay them 60 - 90% of the money to cancel immediately, but the chances are slim & benefits equally slim.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0

Thanks but unfortunately the phone is in Peru with her.
I'll ask her to post it home maybe.
I've tried using my own free O2 x network minutes to call her but so far I've been unsuccessful... just cant get through to her landline or Peru mobile using 0844/0870"Food has replaced sex in my life. Now, even I can't get into my own pants."0 -
