Spent a lovely afternoon out with DD2 looking for inspiration for the AS photography coursework title - 'Evidence of Human Presence.'
Thanks to all the flyladies for their suggestions last week - we tried several of them to see if they would work. I think she's going with the idea of death - really cheery I know ... but we got some fantastic photos of York's war memorials yesterday.....

Very artistic though, and a really good idea.

Have to take DD2 to ENT today, but the afternoon is mine. Need to get baby clothes dried and try to get some more ironing done.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

    Debt-free and Proud!
Good morning all, welcome to newcomers.

Thank you to all at FCC especially Pigpen who heard my pleas for an easy Monday, my Mum and big Sis are coming on a daytrip (living at the seaside does have its benefits) and I might have cried (it is Monday) if you had made us do the kitchen. DS2 is off for Shrove Tuesday (and they tagged on today), bizarre SKIPPING event and the pancake bell (??????) I think you have to be local to appreciate it all....

Morning all, and thank you to FLC for the lists and the encouragement!
Didn't complete last week as we ended up looking after a friend's children when she was suddenly taken into hospital, so a lot of running about between here and there so they could see mum.
Didn't keep up with fred either, so hope everyone is fine, and I've not missed too much.
    Off to find listy....

    Good morning

Please can I ask for Good Luck in yor Art GCSE exam (10 hours over today and tomorrow  ) for DS :) I've just taken him to school, with the beginnings of a sculpture of himself (think Anthony Gormley) made to look like a panelled front door. He's worried that he's made his bum too big :rotfl:
... but we got some fantastic photos of York's war memorials yesterday.....

What about the plague burial ground (opposite the station)?

My porridge should be done, so I'm off for a run, then I'll be Flying :j

Hopefully not too difficult today. Got play group in an hour & then I'll crack on when DS is asleep. DH is still off work & not a happy bunny but there's not alot we can do. Hopefully he'll help with the flying.
I did a day's work on Saturday for the first time in 18 months :rotfl:A friend of mine runs a market stall selling kids clothes & gave me £25 to run it for her & she wants me to help with other bits as well. We'll be putting it all in savings until DH has a job but it might go to our summer outings or something like that:j Have a good day everyone.
