Good morning all, welcome to newcomers.
Thank you to all at FCC especially Pigpen who heard my pleas for an easy Monday, my Mum and big Sis are coming on a daytrip (living at the seaside does have its benefits) and I might have cried (it is Monday) if you had made us do the kitchen. DS2 is off for Shrove Tuesday (and they tagged on today), bizarre SKIPPING event and the pancake bell (??????) I think you have to be local to appreciate it all....
My 3 small pinks are off for teacher training so I wanted an easy day too.. like I'll do anything anyway lol
Miracle of miracles.. this lazy baby is feeding herself toast... she would never put stuff in her mouth before but she is slurping it to death... she still does those windmill arms while eating so throws everything about normally but this is well sucked!
We left OH in bed again so we're having a girly breakfast

I've just realised we are having our first event her as a business in less than four weeks, which means only four weeks to get the business bit outside looking half decent......that meant we really only slept inside over the weekend....and ran through the house with boots on for food.
Today is kictchen and chickens, tomorrow must get out and do more!0 -

Hi Lemanie! Love the phrase 'Monday morning reclamation'!!!
That's just what I've been doing in my 2xHHC:
* Emptied dishwasher and repacked it
* Cleared away all the washing up drying on the stove
* Sorted stuff left on the kitchen counter and found some money-off vouchers:money:
* Made my Monday-loaf-of-bread and left it to rise
* Used up all the leftovers from meal last night (beef stew), and some stuff I wanted to use up from the fridge and freezer, to make 3 individual pies for tonight (pastry is made but resting; bases are assembled)
* Looked at all the other odds and ends from the fridge and decided to make duck ramen tomorrow to use them all up. So went and found the frozen shredded duck and duck stock from the garage freezer
* Checked the 'live capture' mouse trap in the g/house for a visitor, but found that the bait (peanut flapjack) was still there
* Checked the bank account on-line
Phew. Quick cuppa, then I'm on with things again... Haven't had time to read back, but want to wish (someone's????) son good luck with his Art exam - and everyone else good luck with their lists and lives today.

Morning lovelies!
Lovely sunny day here but cold. Got some washing on the line but don't think it will do much. I've made pack-ups, made beds, put away bag of shopping from yesterday, tidied LR, emptied DW, emailed councillor ( warning- rant to follow lol) fed rabbits, put rubbish in bin outside, moved car round to the back of the house as road is closed, tidied DR and put stuff upstairs, updated spending diary, done 2 letters ready for posting, and umpteen other bits and pieces. Cleaned downstairs loo.
Council are now umming and arring whether to go ahead with the works scheduled to start on my house in April, due to not getting as much money as they thought, bearing in mind I was told on two seperate occasions 40mil had been secured  and it would def be going ahead, I'm not a happy bunny and that's putting it mildly, so I've emailed my councillor to see if she can tell me one way or another being as the snooty cow at the decent homes programme couldn't/wouldn't tell me and all but accused me of being thick. If they don't do it this year then they're going to re-house me, they don't know it yet but they are, I will n ot spend another winter in here, it's affecting my health now as I have to sit with my feet up cos of the draughts and my side has been extremely sore for weeks. they can pith right off, I'm now on the warpath, unless she emails back to say it's still going ahead

I'm gonna have a ciggie and a caramel wafer to calm down lol
still to do:
post letters
hoover through
load DW
dry some towels
sort tea
Sorry for the rant
