    hi all

well i am still here and finding it easier to keep up as the weeks go by...

only the kids room is a room of doom now - but that is a problem i am ignoring for now as i keep on top of everything else...thanks to everyone for making this thread work for so many of us..

anyway i am glad it is the bedroom today as its my birthday:beer:and i am going to go up there now and change the sheets and make it sparkly..

i am now 45 but with 2 young kids (5 and 6) i feel a little old and knackered. DS this morning said he does not want me to get old and die because he always wants to come up to our bed and cuddle me in the morning even when he is old and at big school.

Anway hopefully DH will stop working in time to take me out for lunch (special lunch time offers at our local thai restauraunt that we have never been to before) and then maybe i can intice DH up to look at how clean the bedroom is....;););) i wonder if we can squeeze in a quick examination of the clean (thanks to fcc) bedding before it is time to pick the kids up from school..(or maybe we can put them in afterschool club ;))

anway off to make the bedroom appealing..

Good Morning all, hope all are well, I need to find a list.....
  • Welcome hollydays. Have decluttered a dog walk and some doggy socialisation, she met my neighbour's golden retriever again, and my other neighbour's two English Setters. All lovely dogs.

Can you guys help me with a little dilemma of etiquette please?

Ex work colleague and member of prayer group has invited us as a family to her wedding locally. Baby will be maybe 8 weeks old. I don't think I will make it all the way through the whole day, but I would love to see her married, as we share a faith and so on, and she's a lovely girl.

Would it be desperately rude to ask if we could attend the service but not the reception, hopefully leaving some spaces for others at the reception?

What I love about flylady is I can ask the question without getting flamed by some loony, as would happen if I posted almost anywhere else on MSE!

Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

I think she would love you to see her married and miss the party than miss it all - I can't see that its a problem. She will understand given the age of your little one.

      Moam

who is now running off to declutter washing to the line, then herself to the lottie - weeds start trembling...
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
