Ive tried ringing a garage for MOT - shut till tomorrow.
Ive tried ringing my insurance - shut till tomorrow.
and tried renewing my tax online but it wont let me as I now realise I need to produce MOT & insurance details.
Ive got work tomorrow, guess Im on the train & I'l ring from there but WHERE DO IS START???
Any and all help gratefully, gratefully, gratefully recieved!

1st arrange insurance, then book MOT,then tax it,that's the only order to do it.0

Make sure you have a confirmed booking for the MOT that way if you are stopped then you can definately say you are taking it to an MOT station.
Make sure you have insurance first though before going anywhere near a public higway. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
You should be able to sort your insurance today online. Confused/Money supermarket etc.Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0

Your girl friend must be some spectacular woman if moving in with her made you forget the important things in life like your car.0

When you do get everything re-arranged, set up a "Tart Alert" for each of them on here. It will send you a reminder by e-mail and/or text message 6 weeks before the renewal date. It was originally designed for financial reminders, but it works for all sorts of things. And it's free. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

I rang about the MOT as soon as I got to work and got one booked for tomorrow morning. Spent an hour this avo ringing round trying to get an insurance deal - ended up going with Hastings. That'll go live tomorrow at 12 tonight.
Thank you again so much for all the advice.
Err.....I heard about.. a guy.. who was in the same position as I was. He was stupid enough to drive to work in the morning. After driving for several months and getting away with it he thought he'd risk it just one last time so that he got to work on time.
So he was really nervous but kept telling himself that it was just gonna be this once and that he'd been driving this way for the last 2 months so to calm down, drive carefully and get everything sorted as soon as absolutely possible once he got to work.
Maybe its just sods law but this is the gods honest truth - as he climbed the slip road to get on the short motorway journey to work he looked in his wing mirror and HONESTLY there was a police 4x4!!!
He absolutely cacked himself, slowed down and somehow managed to end up joining the motorway right NEXT to the cops.
They slowly crept away ahead as he drove at 65mph, heart pounding in his chest.
Stupid stupid stupid man.
He wont be doing it again.
He really really wont be doing it again.0
