Thankyou TESCO for changing your (non diet) carbonated drinks back to using real sugar instead of aspartame.
I had to give up Tango, Lilt and then supermarket own brands. Now I can at least drink Tesco's own label and enjoy a fizzy drink every now and then
I don't often say thanks to Tesco as they are going down hill in so many respects - but well done for this!

Ohh, thanks for this! I get so fed up looking for drinks other than 7up and Sprite that don't contain aspartame!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I'm stuck drinking vimto as it's the only cordial I've been able to find I can drink. Aspartame needs to be banned =/0

RazWaz, Tesco Hi Juice fruit squash (marked 50% JUICE) has no Aspartame. Make sure it is the 50% one though!
And bravo Tesco, give me sugar over aspartame any day, if for no other reason that I detest the taste of Aspartame...and I simply don't have time to make my own lemonade (!?!? who does??)
None of Sainsburys drinks have Aspartame...they all have Sucralose in them...which I hate too but better than Aspartame.
JJBens, Why not join in an adult conversation with some relevant points? You bring everything back to shop local and quite honestly it's getting a little boring!Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

Morty - I agree Sucralose is just as nasty tasting. I could never understand why people would buy the stuff with the sweeteners in as it leaves a bitter aftertaste - yuk!
I didn't know that all the sainsbury's drinks were ok though - thats a good tip thanks.
I know Morrisons also do drinks with real sugar - but you have to buy their "best" range (costs more!).
As for the comment about making your own... lol0 -

Thats excellent news, thanks Saint!0

Saint - Thanks for the tip about Morrisons! I don't normally shop there so have never checked. Sainsburys stopped using Aspartame about 18months ago I think.
Glider - I think it's just because I haven't had Aspartame for 5 years now and so I recognise the odd taste when it pops up. (Most recently in BBQ sauce from the £1 shop!!) I find Sucralose almost bitter as an aftertaste.
Bloody wish Robinsons would come to thier senses...Man that would make my life easier!! This nanny state culture in companys that ensures even non-diet drinks have artificial sweeteners in them is just insane.Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

Rock's do an orange cordial that is nice, I prefer Robinsons High Juice though. There is also that bottlegreen elderflower cordial and Ribena!
I can drink Lucozade orange again (I'm not sure about the normal flavour).
I like Tescos because they do a tonic water without sweetener at a reasonable price.Lurker extraordinaire! no. 4950

I'll try Sainsbury's then - thanks for the suggestion had a look a while back, guess it must have changed. Taste isn't an issue though, aspartame makes me really really ill (2 years of hell from it before I realised what it was and cut it out).
Wont be getting any Tesco drinks myself though, I'm boycotting them for a separate issue.0 -
