I see so it's coming out of my taxes then...........way to be a Money Saver............you've got a cheek frankly celebrating a new car on this scheme, setting your disability aside how do you think those able bodied motorists feel about the benefit you have just come here to brag about.

I hope you get well but until then enjoy the car I'm working to pay for and good look with all the celebrating.

Sadly too many people I have ever seen with mobility cars seem to have less mobility problems than I do. The problem with the cars is they are seen as free/status symbols (like by the OP) which they shouldn't be. Plus they would be better off financially spending the DLA on something else - particularly useful if the OP is in debt as their "location" suggests.

I'm actually quite offended by the OP...

I have opinions, you have opinions. All of our opinions are valid whether they are based on fact or feeling. Respect other peoples opinions, stop forcing your opinions on other people and the world will be a happier place.

Our local rough estate is full of status symbol motability cars, more often than not for the clinically obese to get to Morrisons, oh the irony.

18 -20k for a TSi your having a giraffe theres no way its worth that much.

When I got my Fiat last summer i looked at Jetta and Golf 1.4Tsi's and they could be had for 11.5k.
