Homework help - need a poem

My Godson needs to take a poem into school on Monday called "James Bond's car" by Roger Stevens. His mother has spent all day trying to find it in town but the book which it is in "I did not eat the goldfish" is apparently now out of print. I don't suppose someone can help? It is for sale online but as he needs it for Monday this isn't an option. We've both googled for it and can't find it anywhere, not even to buy and download.
I'm not sure if this is in the right place but if anyone can help it really would be appreciated.
With many thanks in advance

You can buy the book from Abe books for 62p plus £1.45 postage. CLICK HERE
Abe books is where lost of book shops advertise and you choose who you buy from due to condition and price of the book. Sometimes there are new copies as well as second hand you just have to look through.
I have bought from them many times before.

Ring some of his classmates and see if they've had any luck. If he can't find it then chances are that they can't.Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

James Bond’s car
So this, you say, was James Bond’s car
Did you get it from a dealer?
I love the feel of the steering wheel.
Don’t touch that lever!
I love the colour – the go-faster stripes
The upholstery of leather
And nozzle for making oil skids.
Don’t touch that lever!
An in-board computer with gadgets galore
Pours lemonade – if you need a breather –
And this is a rocket launcher? Wow!
Don’t touch that lever!
I wish I had a James Bond car.
It’s a real scene-stealer.
And look – it’s got ejector seats.
Don’t touch that….
AAAAaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh
Hope this helpsProud to be dealing with my debts0 -

Very poor planning on the part of the teacher who has asked children to find a poem that's only available in an out-of-print book!0 -

HippyChick1 ...thankyou so very much. That took time to write that poem on here and it really is much appreciated.
@ Mojisola...you're right...school should have given them more time. Poor mum was going from shop to shop and the library had shut at 12.30 so that was out of the question.
@ Rikki..thanks for the recommendation of abe books. I've seen them advertised lots, but wasn't sure what they were really like to buy from. Always good to hear first hand. Will come in handy for me in the future as I'm an avid book reader.0 -

I wouldn't have been happy with more time. If the poem wasn't easily available on the internet, it should have been given to them by the school.
Homework should consist of children doing some work that follows up what they're doing in school. If the teacher sets it up in such a way that it can only be done if parents are fit, able and have money to chase around buying books, it is not fair. The teacher didn't think the task through and I would be having a quiet word with him/her.0 -

I think there's an assumption here that all homework should be able to be completed using the internet and to suggest that if it can't be then we need to "have a word" with the teacher is a bit of an over-reaction. What did we used to do? I'd go to the library - perhaps this is what the teacher wanted the children to do. Maybe it's a test of resourcefulness just as much as anything..but I agree that perhaps more time was needed!MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

It depends a lot on the age of the child as to how much resourcefulness should be expected of them.
I am against homework that is easy for children from good homes with plenty of resources and parents willing and able to help them. It discriminates against children who may be carers, whose parents are working very long hours or coping with family problems. These kinds of tasks don't prove how good any child is but good their parents are.0
