O2 Simplicity question

Hi

Looking for advise re O2 Simplicity sim.

In Jan 2010 I changed from a pagy O2 sim to a O2 Simplicity [30 day contract] as I had bought a Blackberry phone.

With Vat and a few extra calls the bills are comming in around 30.00 pm. I really dont think im making full use of it. I only bought a blackberry as it was a cheaper alternative to iphone, but I dont really rate it!

My question is if I wanted to revert back to a payg sim where I just top up £10 pm/ or as much as I like?

I want to continue to use the blackberry for phone calls I am aware it will have no functionality otherwise.

You need to give 30 days notice and ask to move to Pay as you go. Once you've changed to pay and go,if you want to , you can add the Blackberry bolt-on to your pay and go account which gives you Blackberry services for £5 a month.

You'll still be able to make calls and texts as normal , its just the BB messenger and BB Browser won't work. And also the Email won't work.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    thanks
did realise that there was a bolt on for payg. There wasnt when i bought blackberry.

    O2 website states:
    BlackBerry Bolt On

Get BlackBerry email, internet and messaging for only £5 a month.
Get 500MB internet plus unlimited BlackBerry access.
For more information, call 2202 free from your mobile.

what does unlimited Blackberry access mean?
and would 500 mb internet be enough?

As it says, you've got Blackberry Services and some normal data (for those apps which don't use the Blackberry servers). It should be more than enough, unless you are into streaming video or audio.
