    They sound lovely :)

If you have quite a few to do, it might work out cheaper buying the Green & Blacks Miniature boxes on the 3 for 2 at Boots, and splitting them up, rather than buying the individual bars.

    :)

these are fantastic! If you get the second one 3 for 2, it works out at 27p each. Will definately keep an eye out for these! Thank you x :o

fantastic work all! I had the nicest compliment tonight - a male friend who I made a hamper for last Christmas said that he had taken photographs of the one I made him for Christmas as it was the nicest present he received! Needless to say I'm making him one this year and as no-one ever makes me a hamper he's going to make me one!

The brown boxy basket and the pink plastic basket both came from a shop near wher I live called QS - its kind of like TK Maxx it sells clothes and housey stuff but really really cheap. I liked the plastic pink baby one cause I thought it might be handy to put blanket, nappy, cream etc and carry over one arm and baby in the other

Ive had real fun making the baskets - I think lots of people in my life will be getting them for upcoming events :T

    Hi all,

First of all - thanks for a wonderful and inspiring thread. I was resigned to not being able to buy pressies for anyone this christmas, and have told them so! I have loads of bits and bobs though that I could put in hampers and I intend to make some nice home made fudge and Christmas pud. Thanks again for the inspiration!

If anyone is doing a hot choc type hamper, you can get these rather fab milk frothers from Ikea for 99p - http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30100041

    Hope this helps someone!

    Thanks,

    Crystal
  • Cheers for that as I had ordered one from Avon with mug etc and the silly women told me yesterday oh I forgot :mad:anyway shall now get that one cheers:j

Excellent idea with the fudge and there are little boxes at 80p in Au Naturel that the sweets will look cool in.
Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream
