BMF - I think you can do snowman soup how you fancy - I'm doing it for my son and not sure he's a cappacino fan (otherwise he could have a sachet of mine.......lol) so I'm popping in a sachet of drinking chocolate, some chocolate sprinkles and sticking a little snowman on the top of the sachet (something I found in a drawer), sticking it in a mug with a snowman on and thats that.

Bunbun - The Yule log - we just sat the flannels on top of each other and rolled them sideways. We then kept it together with one of those trusty elastic bands dropped by the post man - DD and I went for a walk before we started so we could collect them - got 7 in 10 minutes!:p I then put pretty, wide ribbon over the tope of that and then in case the elastic band still showed - tied red ribbon over the top of that. Used hessian gold cello... Hope that helps...

Thanks to rainmac for the cellophane cone link a couple of pages back, I've just bought some so it'll be snowman soup & sweets for everyone this year! I'm gonna have to stop reading this thread, I've now got a list as long as my arm of ideas I want to do for Christmas! I'll need a week off work at this rate! :D
Got my soap for the reindeers after work today but still can't find any noses anywhere... Has anyone got any ideas where to find them?

    Evening everyone :)

Finally finished off the 2 crafty tins for our friends children. I had a budget of £10 each and made up 2 crafty hampers and also a baking hamper for them and have spent just over £16 on both of them so £4 under budget :) however I forgot to add the aprons I have for them so will add them now but can't be bothered to take another picture lol Here goes.

It's closing soon so they can build a better, bigger store, but in the meantime they close at 6pm. Ah well, might venture to the larger store while DS is at pre-school tomorrow afternoon. :)

I am sensing that you are desperate for Ben & Jerry's natbag ;) I bought 6 tubs from Asda 2 or 3 weeks ago as it was £2 a tub (they so looked at me odd at the checkout). We've eaten through 2 so not bad going really! OK, I fess up, the 4 of us shared a tub and then I scoffed a whole tub whilst OH was out for the night. Didn't mean to eat a whole tub, it just sort of happened, got caught up watching telly and the next thing I knew my long handled spoon was scraping against the bottom of the empty pot :o :rotfl: :o
