Got a couple of birthday hampers done last week - but only just got around to downloading the photos. It was the first time ever I've actually been around to see them received/opened (normally end up delivering pressies via family members etc), so it was nice to see the (good) reactions - you're never quite sure are you
Anyway - one for a teenage girl - includes a manicure kit, lippy set, set of brushes, and in the toiletry bag are a selection of basics (nail varnish remover, emeries, compact mirror, cleanser, concealer etc) - all packed into a hatbox.
And for her mum - a Soap and Glory minis set, Revlon french manicure set, a box of maltesers, and behind/underneath there is a little manicure kit in a case, and some of her favourite tipple. Quite proud of this one as it's my first 'pineapple top' cello wrapping attempt - before I've always been able to cover the hamper rather than gather it up. Thanks for all the tips that have been posted about doing it this way - I went for the 'just grab it' method and, I think, it went really well.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

Oh, didn't realise you were making OH a hamper too. What does he like? Does he have any favourite hobbies? If you check out the Boots sticky on MSE, there were a few ways to get stuff from men from Boots cheap or free... trying to remember what current offers are on.
For your mother, does she like books? Did she like reading before she got dementia? If so, what about talking books? She can always play them again and again.
Does she like hobbies like knitting? How about some wool and knitting needles?
How about a photo album with photos of you and your family with your mother? Favourite photos.0 -

Thankyou ... if he breaks it then I will break him  however there is a way to open themuse a claw hammer on the top and prise it off, that way it can be opened without smashing then just superglue back together ... this does work as my dad and step mum did this with the one I got them for their wedding
Lovely hampers earth mother, bet they went down a treat!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
