I'd really love to do my friend and her bf an 'American' themed hamper for xmas as they are planning their honeymoon there for next year and i'm not sure what to put in it..
i thought map and travel book but beyond that i'm stumped. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks guys:beer:
Sorry I have snipped your post ...
Lidl do a big bag of sweety burgers which you could use as a filler?
Look like these
They are £1.75 for a big bag ... could do well to fill the gaps? or even fill up a couple of wine glasses with them?
I will have more of a think but for some reason I read america and thought burger. Maybe I should go and find something to eat lolRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I was in matalan last night and they had some lovely stuff in their Christmas section and i think it was all 3 for 2. I bought some Christmas confetti 6 pks for £1. There are 3 different designs in the pack and you get 2 pks of each. You get holly, stars and snowflakes. Could be good for card or tag making or sprinkling into baskets. The holly might be good gor flannel yyle logs also with a few beads stitched onto it.

I use this when I wrap a pressie in brown parcel paper, then wrap in cellophane and just tip a few of these confetti between the two layers. It looks really cool. It also work with envelopes- ie you wrap the envelope in cellophance then tip a few of the confetti in.
Not sure if that's made sense but I know what I mean......:o:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Thank you, the are of cello and ribbons isnt to hard my SIL showed me how to do it, so last year I made up the hampers with the ribbons and cellofane, and took 15 of them to a winter fate at the local school and made £100, well worth it. It going quit well on ebay, didnt expect to start selling till it got a little closer to christmas but very happy sold two already. With £3 ebay fees and £6 postage, I work it out a little proffit on each hamper, last christmas I sold 7 in one day in the run up to christmas, got really busy. The thing is I love the whole process, always been really into desgin and love putting these together, its something I love doing so doesnt really feel like work.
my last feedback said she liked it so much she may get another!! Same thing last year when you really put the time and effort, people really notice it and lotsof buyers came back and bought more...
Wanted to say love all your hampers and your bargin buys, they look fab all those are beautfully giftwraped...xPeople who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...

Childhood favourites?
Sweets that are older than you? (though he may think they're out of date with that one haha)
Everytime i see these it reminds me our happy childhood together?
Everything i know you will love?
I'm not good with the sentimental but those phrases jumped to mind lol0 -
