Hi, if anyone is interested, there are some lovely storage boxes in the Next Sale today, which would be good for hampers. Unfortunately I can't get a picture at the moment, but they are 3 for £10 (reduced from £20).
The largest is approx 5-6inches high, 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep. There are two boxes inside, each measurement probably about 1-1.5 inches smaller than the bigger size (if that makes sense?!!)
They are a silvery grey colour, with a velvet grey swirly pattern embossed on them.
I think they'd look great for hampers... I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -
Thanks for the link Drfluffy - love those ducks and not a bad price really.
BMF - I quite agree - life's too short to be taken too seriously and my lot are all having boxes/baskets of 'fun' bits as well as the odd sensible things.
My two boys (36 and 40) still love a box of 'bits' and get a thrill out of not knowing what they're getting and the youngest son always sends me something silly - last year it was a childs 'make a teddy' kit - had to get my friend to help me with it....................lol:rotfl:Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I got the last two in our shop, one was pink and the other lilac. It says Mummy's Little Helper in white and has two pictures of gingerbread men and one of a cupcake. I'm hoping to pop back sometime and see if they have more boyish colours for another one I want to do.
Hi
This is a bit late but I spotted these in Roseby's this afternoon so thought I would mention it as I remember people discussing them on this thread. They have a closing down sale and had assorted colours saying "nanny's little helper", "mummy's little helper" and "granny's little helper" for £1.99.
This was in Brighton but I think they have closing down sales across the country.0 -

What a fabulous idea, another suggestion to add, maybe 1 of those cheap fleecy blankets from Ikea (about £3.50 i think) They have mainly bold colours like yellow, red and blue but they're very snuggly0 -
