not the best picture but you get the idea

also picked up a set of handwash and hand cream pumps all displayed on a ceramic soap dish type thing its lavender scented so nearly got enough bits for another lavender basket (nanna this time)

Also my Avon has arrived have decided to use the free kimono in a seperate basket as its brown and pink and doesn't match the colour/feel of the other items........................thought i may use it in a chocolate themed one

I am still looking for small ben 10 items if anyone sees anything

  • LONG POST SORRY!

Finally finished my fellas army style hamper....but stupidly didnt take any pictures :(

Didn't get time to buy some green cellophane,so decided to put it in a Clintons hologram box instead of a hamper basket. Had to buy a red one (was gutted really, they only sell gold and red ones-wanted a gold one as red isnt very "army" but had to settle with it in the end)

I decorated it with gold hologram ribbon going over the box in a cross (you know what i mean?) and finished it by curling the ribbon on the top and adding a gold sticky explosion of curled robbon and stars. And to top it off to keep him guessing what's inside i have attached a large parcal tag/swing tag, which i have covered in camoflauge pattern paper.

Inside is...................my home made sock monkey......shown here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1078021&page=10 (mine is the camoflauge one with the long arms and legs :) )

Camoflauge boxer shorts, which came in a cute little black mesh drawstring bag

    The Ultimate force boxset

    Ross Kemp in Afganistan DVD

    Ross Kemp on gangs book

A kilner jar which i have stashed a camoflauge swiss army knife in covered by green plastic soldiers

And a gold dog tag and chain (pressie from me, my mum and my mums fella) which i have had engraved with his initials and d.o.b

I have lined the bottom of the box with shredded light and dark green crepe paper and have also covered the gifts with it too- think the monkeys foot is poking out of the top though.lol

  • Thankyou Shaz, Ebay also had some comical rubber ducks in army helmets with those bullet holster thingys over their shoulders. I also once saw a grenade shaped bubble bath holder (might have been an action man one?) I could have bought loads of bits. W.H.Smith have got lots of good Army books out at the mo aswell, biographys of soldiers etc. Hope that helps :)

I don't know the answer to cellophane either as I have only wrapped one basket so far. It was a large on and I would say took between 1 and 1.5 metres just for one - but that could just be because it was my first attempt!
