thought this was a novelty item to put in your hampers, they sound flimsy from the reviews but for 1.99 you cant complain for a bit of fun.

hi mary43 and bungle82- many thanks for the ideas and advice, desparate to get started now. dont know what any of the nieces and nephews are into at the moment thats half the trouble and if i start asking my bruvs n sis i get bombarded with 'they want this they want that' and its always £30plus each idea!!! so im not going to ask. i know the girls are getting in to make up cos everytime they are here they raid my 16 year olds room and try scrounging stuff of her and they (parents) are short of money so extra pjs etc would probably be appreciated. the 3year old should be easy i imagine- i was thinking playdough, crayons, books etc, things to do. the 5 and 6 year old ???? possibly something to do or build who knows. i will have to watch em and be a bit sneaky to find out.

    thanks guys.

Thanks Cookiedough ;) Perfect for my OH's jokey stocking I wanted some of these last year but they were £12-£15 from some of the jokey websites so a great saving! :)
Means OH's stocking has cost me a big total of £4 so far lol won't be able to fit much more in it :)

The cube world are RRP £19.99 but I paid £1.50 in home bargains a few weeks ago, they were half market price as the back of the box has scribble all over it
the puzzle was 49p in home bargains
the door hanger is magnetic and was 29p in home bargains
the crap stamp was 29p in home bargains

(can you see a pattern as to where my favourite shop it? :rotfl:)
But I am waiting for an !!!!! and face wash cloth (I bought the matching soap last year) and I have a couple more bits still to get but he only has a small stocking. There will be the normal chocky coins in there. :) Its mainly so he can have something to open with the children.

Have you picked anything up for him yet? I could do with a couple more ideas if you wouldn't mind sharing?

I didn't have one for years, then when I moved in with OH in March I went exploring and found one by accident! ... now I know there are 2 within a 7 mile trip so I am in heaven lol. I buy presents for the children at the school (when they have parties) and they cost me no more than £2.50 but obviously RRP is so much more. I plan to sort out party bag fillers from home bargains aswell to keep the costs down :)

Oooh edit: they have jokey things at hawkins bazaar fairly cheap aswell. Not sure if you have one nearby but they sell online aswell which is great ;)
