My mind hadn't stretched as far as blutack :rotfl: I am desperate to make another hamper, but don't have all of the things I need for one! ... I might have to nip into town and get the last few bits and see if I can get the chalkboard boxes completed today. Although I have my sons birthday card to make and also his cake strand to make ready!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

You are addicted to hamper making :rotfl: Have to say, you sound very organised. I need to start wrapping some of mine and get cracking sorting the rest
Got my tool caddies today from Wickes to use for sweets - can't believe I only ordered them yesterday and they are here already and I got £10 off the bill!!! OH thinks sweets for his brothers is a rubbish idea but that's what I'm doing as I think it's a good idea and they can make use of the caddy afterwards. What do OH's know anyway :rotfl::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
rainmac - my OH grumbled about how my dad must be fed up of golf related things for presents. I was fuming after the effort I had put into making him a golfing hamper!Debt free wannabe

Not organised in the slightest I am afraid. I still have loads to make and sort out. Little ones birthday is 16th next month so may have to have a break to wrap up all his presents (yes they are all bought, were all picked up in Jan/feb) well all apart from his DS which I bought last week.
My sister in laws 21st hamper went down a tread, she has since txt 3 times to tell me how much she loves it :rotfl: (wonder if she likes it really or not) I will probably put finishing touches to my grans hamper and get that one wrapped today then thats another done
Oh no Cookiedough how mean! I would have slapped him and told him to sort it himself next time! Did your dad like it? nuts to your OH as long as your dad liked it that is all that matters!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Ok fingers crossed.

Well I have been upstairs and figured out what else I needed for the 2 hampers for the children gone into a different cupboard and everything I needed I already had! woohoo! So every year for birthday and christmas we take the children to the teddy bear workshop to get a new bear. (my son has a cow that is 4 years old and starting to get a hole!) We only do it for special occasions as the bears are quite expensive, so just as a little add on I have made up a voucher each for them and plan to put it in there baskets. What do you think?
The writing says:
This voucher entitles Thomas/Maddison~Mae to one visit to the Build A Bear Workshop, to build a new bear, give the bear a new name and give the bear a loving home forever. Oh and I stole images off google! which probably isn't allowed butRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

What a fab idea,I can just imagine the excitement of them wanting to go there straight away, to make their new teddy.
My daughter has got the cow too, only trouble is it is dressed as 'Spiderman' !!!
She is Spiderman mad, I am sure they forgot to put a tail on her when she was born :rotfl:A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0
