Oh Lindauk I am loving those tags too - saves the hassle of looking at every tag closely to see which pressies are for who and saves writing out every card individually - hate doing that - have to make some of those - love them.
  • :T :T lindauk vbmenu_register("postmenu_13458881", true); They are lovely, I love the tags too and I like the tissue wrap idea, may do this for ds1's gf for xmas, did her a hamper for her birthday it would be a change to give her the xmas one individually wrapped - now just got to think what to go in it

:T :T NZK83 It's really lovely and so thoughtful, love the ducks they are so cute

    Hello
    I love all your hampers.
I'm going to make my niece a baking hamper for Christmas. I have bought lots of the cheap cake decorating stuff (from Tesco) and cake cases and I'm on the look out for a mini muffin tin from TKMaxx. I have also made her a apron, can anyone think of anything else I could make her to match it that is baking/cooking related.

Your apron is really sweet she will love it.

I am also going to make a cooks outfit for my g'daughter with a white apron and a cooks hat. (made from an old but very clean sheet) Am going to incorporate her name somehow on the front of the apron 'Chloe's cupcakes', her ambition is to open a cake shop! :rotfl:

Love all the hampers. I made some sock cupcakes and the choccy flannel swiss roll. SonIL thinks it's rotten trick as they look quite real and you have to do a double take! So thanks for all the ideas and inspirations as I am making two chocolate lovers hampers at the mo.
  • :T :T Rainmac - lovely presents. I haven't got any little ones to give to now but my kids would have loved these when they were younger. All the kids get so much stuff for Xmas but then get bored and are looking for something to do, these will keep them busy for a good while.

NZK83 Your basket sounds great and I bet it was much appreciated and a lovely surprise.

lindauk vbmenu_register("postmenu_13456641", true); I haven't done one wrapped in tissue nor have I seen one, I think it's agreat idea as keeps the suspense going.

Please post pics - Rose kitten has posted instructions here (even I managed to follow them:rolleyes: )

Likewise threelittlepigs vbmenu_register("postmenu_13455953", true); it's great to see what other people have done and pinch a litle from her and a little from there ;)

as soon as i finish a hamper i will post a pic
as i would like you all to see and advise before i wrap
    if thats ok
    thanks

It was me who did the tea tray hampers as Shelleybee said (thanks Shelleybee)
thanks shellybee, was just wondering how she held everything down to keep it in place

I used some small double sided pads and some bigger ones. Used a coupel of bigger ones to hold the bigger items to the tray, then things like the packets were attatched to the boxes and jars using the smaller ones as they wouldn't stand up but do now ;)
Hope this helps. and thanks for your kind comments.

Don't know how Rusty did hers but I used small bits of blutack to keep things in their place on the tray. Blutack has enough stick to keep things in place but easy to remove by the recipient ;)
