  • I've been so impressed with all your baskets I'm planning on making Pamper ones for my female relations for xmas but in the meantime my little sisters moving into her first home with her boyfriend and I wanted to make them a hamper filled with all the little things you forget to buy when you get your first home, so far I've come up with:

    Bottle opener/Corkscrew
    Tin opener
    Pizza cutter

As you can see I'm not doing to well, if anyone can add anything to this list that would be great.
    Thanks

Thanks so much for the Supercook tip off Rusty :T . Got to Tesco today and bought loads of Supercook bits for just over £2, must have 6 tubs sprinkle/sparkly things to put on top of cakes, cake cases and 2 large tubes ready made icing with different nozzles. Going to copy you and get a bowl and spoon and give whole lot as a pressie, wrapped in cello of course! :D

Yay well done you :) I thought it was a good idea ;)

When I moved out of my mum and dad's last year my mum brought me two massive boxes full of a grocery shop! She brought a mixture of everything from tins of beans, to tea bags to custard so that we didn't have to worry about food shopping after the just moving in! Was the best pressie we got!!
The hamper for you sister sounds great, just trying to think what we forgot to get:

    whisk
    baking trays
    mixing bowl
    grater
    sieve
    peeler
    potato masher
    spatula
    serving spoon
    slotted spoon
    ladle
    chopping board

Light bulbs................just in case there aren't any or they don't work.
I remember moving into a house and the previous owners took every single light bulb !

How about a couple of nice mugs and a box of tea bags as well?
