I must say that lots of the contents are bargains. Even the more expensive looking items. The champneys stuff was one third off and the Boots cream I used my voucher and the champagne was 70p direct from France (my friend went on a booze cruise!)

kaja - they look lovely! I would echo what the person said about wrapping the marshmallows in cellophane, or failing that.. Asda are selling some small boxes of chocolates, including belgian seashell chocolates for £1, which, wrapped up in cellophane with some ribbon tied around the top and curled, *really* looks the business.. i did this for my nan's present!

well done though, your basket looks better than mine!!!

  • I bought the same baskets in Morrisons, I think they were about £6.99 for three.

Well done on the baskets, what really shines through is how much thought you've put into them. The recipients are going to be thrilled to bits!
  • I have also finished mine and I'm really pleased with the finished products, lots of thanks for the ideas on here.

Only one disaster. I had bought some really fancy bottles containing cooking oil and despite them being corked and sealed they leaked slightly onto some baseball caps and socks. A lesson learnt and now I have extra cooking oil in my cupboard!
