Better for the driver to not be blinded, than the passenger ;)

I was asking how can one switch the sunvisor, from one side of the car to the other; the bracket would be on the wrong side.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

Depends on the design of the sunvisors and their fixing. One is sometimes just the reverse of the other and all you need to do is flip them over and fix them in. Take for example the below, only difference is the mirror would be facing outwards but can be covered up with tape.

The visor can be swung around -- have you never swung it through 90 degrees to get rid of sun-glare to your right on the motorway?

The problem would be that the visor would be the wrong war around, i.e. mirror facing outwards. Probably not such a big deal as a temporary fix though.

Are the springs not set a certain way, to retain the visor at certain angles? It just sounds logical that they visor wouldn't fit properly.
