THIS IS NOT A SCAM
I have been to their resort in Malaga about a year ans a half ago on this FREE HOLIDAY, and it was very nice. REALLY nice accommodation I think we got better than what you normally get cause they were just newly built then and we pushed for them.
They do stipulate that you go for lunch with them where they try to hard sell you, but as long as you keep saying no, they do finally get the picture.
But what I would say is what they have to offer is very good, It is very pricey but you get what you pay for, we had a Jacuzzi on the balcony just for us plus a Jacuzzi come bath in the master bedroom.
If anyone wants any more info on this company PM me or post here.0 -

I honestly do not work for this company, jsut cant stand people saying "Its a scam" without even doing any investigation into it.
You could have a look all over then net the company has been around for like 20 years thier not a fly by night company.
I think thier is a club la costa forum, dont remember the address tho.0 -

Hi Everyone,
First post here, long time lurker, usual stuff. I have been on a "free" holiday with this company almost exactly a year a go. Booking fee was £25, all transfers included.
Basically the first afternoon was full on presentation, hard sell (quite a few people bought) They did try to sell to me and my friend but we just said:
"Look, we are here for the cheap holiday, we have no money, can't get a mortgage and are both unemployed, no point trying to sell to us"
They were actually quite rude at this point and said "well why the hell are you here then?" in a rather vicious tone, we just said its because we won it, its a prize and we will stick to the terms and conditions if they will.
They let us do what we wanted after that, although we did get totally ignored by all the "reps" we had a ruddy good holiday, absolutely stunning rooms with gorgeous views, only things we had to pay for was lunch and evening meal.
If you want a cheap holiday I would reccomend it, just be prepared to stick to your guns and be blunt with them.

I had a call at work today, CLC Holidays asking me to do a survey. I explained I was at work and could not.
Immediately 'googled' CLC Holidays and found out they were Club La Costa and came up with numerous hits warning you about their methods. There was a whole thread on 'Holiday Truths' where people were relating their tales of woe in dealing with this company. It seems to be a 'holidays for points' type of business, to get round the timeshare legislation, and some people were paying up to £12,000 for said 'points' but still had trouble getting the holidays they were promised.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
I also got a call today...sounds like the same company..TBH as soon as he said 'I'd won a holiday' I stopped listening, he gave me an 0800 # to write down, (I didn't) but said something will be in the post...Will wait and see...
Not married here, so does any one fancy a free holiday..LOL... :TThis post was created in an area that may contain nuts!0 -
I had friends who went on one of these "holidays", they were forced to sit through hours of presentation and although they kept saying they were not interested or could they take the documents back to the hotel to think about it, this was refused. When they finally got up to walk out they were practically pushed down the steps of the hotel and because the hotel, for the presentation was some miles from the resort, they found themselves with no transport back to their own hotel. They had to walk many dusty miles before they were able to get a taxi. If that is not a "scam" then I do not know what is.:smileyheaMagenta0

Seems to me the only good comments are coming from people who have only joined for that reason. If there were any good comments from regular MSErs then it might be worth taking on board their opinion. I think it's pretty much open and shut. This is a scam.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0
