I dread to think how they would behave if you did have children ! I would say that no matter how nice your home would be it wouldn't make up for the hassle of dealing with your family

Moneysaving is nice.
Free money is even nicer.

BUT - money won't buy you happiness. If you do not genuinely want children, don't do it. It would not be fair on you, your partner, or -least of all- your child(ren). They can be a great joy, but also, at times, a great pain. Make the choice you are happy with and don't be talked / persuaded / bribed into something you both do not genuinely want.

You are entitled to have your feelings respected.All most parents want is for their children to be happy.If your parents think thats odd-well I think they are odd.

I know someone who turned down a relative buying them a house-the person concerned would have wanted to control every penny spent,and the "favour" would never have been given freely.The person wisely turned down the offer.
