Never seen clean oil come out of any engine yet;)

    Clean? No.

    Black, on a petrol? Nasty.

The oil in my cars is always fairly clean when it leaves, because it's replaced every 6000 miles or so.

At 6000 miles there's no way it's going to come out even fairly clean, but then I suppose there's black and very black:D:D
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Never had anything but black oil (when looked at in the tray afterwards) from an engine, on any car or bike and all have been well looked after. Agree with the above - there's balck and then there's black. Turbo cars tend to soot up quicker I find (Subaru did anyway).

Besides, dirty oil = fine. If it comes out like water then it is far too thin and probably hasn't been changed for ages. Dark and gloopy is the way forward!

    5t.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

Yes, there is black and then there's proper black.

I was referring to the stuff that's black when you look at it on the dipstick... cola looks black in the bottle but it's actually brown :)

Wait for a nice sunny day when all the neighbours have got their washing out, then use it to start a bonfire in order to burn all the garden rubbish that otherwise wouldn't burn very well. Makes a lovely thick black smoke. And you can have fun pretending you're Red Adaire putting out an oil-well fire.

Which, I am sure you have learnt by now, is illegal.

Err....no, even when you don't get it is still illegal. What an odd thing to write.
