Been 'guaranteed' a Santander Credit Card. My account has been at £10 for 2 years!

What other accounts do you have, quite likely they are reporting to you credit file.
At that address, I have no other accounts. The only reason I actually forgot to change over the address was because:
1) They stopped sending me statements once I withdrew all my money out.
2) I only had £9.98 in it, so it wasn't really a pressing matter to attend to.
And this was about 2.5 years ago! The account has been pretty much empty for 2.5 years.
I'm not sure whether they will be able to view details from my other accounts at my home address.
I guess I should really get on to changing my address over for them, might think I'm avoiding tax or something!:rotfl:

I'm a full-time student and had no problems getting a credit card from the Post Office but as always it will depend on how much money you've got coming in and your credit history.
Hi
credit history is fine, no adverse credit. I have about £10,000 coming in annually which I think qualify's me for the standard card, as I think you have to have at least £8000 annual income.
Can I ask was your income around mine. Alos when did you manage to get know? (not sure if they have tightend the credit criteria nowhere days)

To paraphrase the Simpsons, I wouldn't be surprised if the wording on the offer was actually supposed to be "Guaranteed acceptance? No, credit checks!" and they messed up the punctuation at the printers...0

Would it be legal for me to accept the card and then change over the address in a few months time? Not really sure on the finer details of this.
It'll be much better than the 35+% interest rate I'm on with Capital One (at least I pay it off every month!!)

More than likely the card would be sent to the wrong address though, + may flag up with credit reference agencys if different address recordered with them.. I wouldntCan I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0
