Hi--

I am going to Ireland for the FIRST time ever and im very excited albeit for work!

But im travelling from Belfast international- to Londonderry then need to be in Enniskillen for 9am the next day therefore need to stay in that area

Does anyone know where you can stay in and around that area that would make travelling ok?

Is there anything as a stranger to Ireland I need to know?

Get yourself to Enniskillen the evening before your 9.00am meeting and stay here http://www.killyhevlin.com/

Killyhevlin is fab - great leisure club/spa and Rodney is a great guy! Also like the Manor House, bit further out but great food, lux surroundings etc. Big Al is right about the 9.00am meeting - traffic in Skilly is notoriously bad! But if you have to stay in the maiden city, can't recommend The City Hotel in Derry enough, we stay every November and just love it!

First time visitor - just enjoy it, you are going to two lovely parts of the country so it should be good. In Enniskillen you could always call into the Buttermarket and support some local craft workers by buying some goodies there - love Ann McNulty Pottery!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!

think the Killyhelvin is marmite, love it or hate it.

Been once and I fall into the hate it catergory. Has to be lough Earne resort every time. Fab hotel, beautiful spa and great food.

Lough Erne Resort is good but too pricey for an overnight business stay.

There's also a beautiful hostel located in the centre of Enniskillen. Depending on budget it should be a really good choice and it's in the centre of Enniskillen. It's a fairlt new building with interesting architecture ovelooking the river. Do a search for the hostel or the Clinton centre

Yes jen - please know that not everyone here is as petty political as wayne77. I hope you have a wonderful time in Northern Ireland which is on the beautiful island of Ireland. :-)
