Protective Case/Cover for HTC Desire, any tips?

I wana get a decent case/cover for a new HTC Desire phone. The silcon thing doesn't seem great cos the screen can still get damaged. Anyone have any ideas/tips on something thats not bulky, but protects and looks sleek? (obviously money-saving is desirable too!) Thanks

Gel/TPU cases are usually good. The benefits of silicon & plastic in one.

If you want to be really well protected, then have a look at the the Case-Mate "Tough Case"
