Sorry to post but I need to share the Lack table love.... get one get one get one! We don't live near an Ikea any more and wish I'd bought some more! So cheap and look pretty good for the price! We got them in black and red and were very happy even at full price.
So many uses. They make a nice hiding place for house rabbits and small dogs too. They are very light and easy to use. My brothers girlfriend thought it would be a good cheap way to make a cat climbing frame, buy a few of these, cover in stuff, dangle things from them and stack at various heights and away you go!
I love the lego table idea!
Also if you don't like the appearance, cover it with a pretty throw/big scarf thing/nice fabric and no-one would know what lies beneath and you have a nice unique personal piece of furniture!

Our local store opens at 9.30 for browsing and then is open at 10am for purchasing. Sorry to ask a silly question but does anyone know if you can go down to the warehouse at this time and load up your trolley with your purchases and then pay at 10am? Or do they only let you look around the show rooms? Thanks!0

All very odd!
Email from Ikea (Lakeside store) states that the Hemnes wardrobe will be £58.39 - usual price £233.87, so a massive bargain. However, when I actually look for it on the website at the Lakeside store, it says that there are 8 in stock but the price shown is £233.87!
Edit: Now found it in the sale section - advert across the top showing it at £149, but only if you print out a voucher and take it in!
I picked up a Hemnes wardrobe today in the Southampton store for £58.39 (black colour only on offer), I think this was an 'Ikea Family' special price, plenty of stock too!
I also got 2 different Alve desks...

These were both reduced down from around £160 though it doesn't show the original price online, some great bargains especially as we are moving house soon and in need of more furniture.
