Brand new iPhone 4, camera not working =(

Anyone else had an issue with the iPhone 4 camera not working. I tap the camera and just get the digital shutter, closed and it won't open. Gutted cuz I only got it yesterday.

Please let me know how/if you fixed this.

I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.

    Sometime it can take a while, foir the camera to start.

    However don't try and fix it, either take it back to the shop, or contact Apple who will arrange a swap out, or book a Genius bar appointment, and take it to an Apple store who will swap it there and then after basic testing.

    I have booked a genius bar appt but would rather not have to go if there is some quick fix i've overlooked. Thanks for the advice though =D

    This happened to me with my original 3GS. A hard reset solved the problem.

    Is the hard reset the one via iTunes cuz i've tried that, and the reset on the phone, and pressing down the home and the sleep button.

    I would ask for a brand new sealed iPhone 4 rather than a refurb phone.
