Warmfront query

I applied to warmfront a few months ago.. was accepted for new boiler, radiators and loft insulation.

Loft insulation was completed a few weeks ago. I was told the boiler and heating would be probably done in may.

Are the grants per person or per property? As I am now wanting to move out. Which means when they were doing the heating etc I will not be living here. But the property still needs it.

Will they still do it if I move out? Or would they then cancel it?

Is it a rented property or do you own it?

it is rented. they have def booked it because i signed a list of parts they would be using. agreed to it all. and then they sent a form to the landlord to sign to say he agreed to the work. the loft insulation was done first. but the guy who saw me right at the beginning said they were looking at may time for the heating etc

I'm not doubting you're booked in. Just if you do have to cancel then it's unknown when (or even if) you'd get booked in again. I think your best bet would be to try and get it transferred to the next property you move in to if it needs it. Don't fancy your chances though, sorry.

so they wont still do it at the property im leaving? the last letter recieved said to await a date of work commencing.

Amazing!! you expect A new boiler installed in a property that you will not be living in, The scheme was not intended for this purpose, I cannot believe you would post This. Its ok.. I rang them. They are installing it all next week. I wont be moving for another 1-3 months anyway as the property I will be renting is in need of repair. At least I will have decent heating for a month or 2.

No doubt you recorded it on your sky plus HD, what where you studying? A leaflet on how to claim for more benefits? empty your ashtray and get a life!!
