I cancelled my landline a while back, after using a prepaid 3 Network dongle. I have never looked back.

3gb of data costs me around £7 now, and lasts for around 2 months. I am happy with the speed, but I do not download films, play games or music.

I bought a sim for the 3 network, but can't use it in my existing orange huaewi dongle, as it's locked. Anyone know where I can get a cheap generic dongle that's either unlocked or easy to unlock?

use one of the huawei code calculators to make an unlock code for your existing dongle..

Theres plenty around or pay a quid on ebay and get someone to go it for you :)

I used the t mobile payg dongle and it worked fine for me till got back online through phoneline. I was suprised how quick it was at downloading.

I paid 15.00 and had unlimited usage for a month even though it was payg!!!

There is no such thing as unlimited mobile broadband, yes yes I know they advertise it as being unlimited but believe me when you examine the miles and miles of terms and conditions it is always capped usually between2 and 5 gig, it is about time the regulator jumped up and down on these mobile providers that advertise unlimited plans because thet are simply a play on words and DO NOT exist.
