Makes you wonder, whose side they are on....
Oh well, there's always people who are full of themselves.0 -
Seven including your 'dad'.
And I don't think there is any call to be abusive - I'm no more an idiot than you.
And I think everyone should have the right to live in a safe environment and I think everyone should have the right to live wherever they want. I do not, however, think anyone should have the right to live for free at the expense of others who do have to work.
Six including my dad. Tell me how you're supposed to work if you're disabled? Wheather you're in Germany or UK. Disabled people need support, the only reason you're worried about is your "taxes".0 -

If I turned up Berlin with 3 (or 4 kids?), unable to work and asking for a free house, no taxes and some kind of living allowance, I'm sure I would be laughed out of the country. Why should it be any different here. How many years have your family been claiming? Do you not think there should be a limit?
I don't think anyone is trying to be nasty and it is a difficult situation you are in but there has to be some kind of framework for benefits otherwise as a country, we would spend more on benefits than we take in taxes. We would also become one of the most over populated countries in the world.
Can you not take a sabbatical from university and look into ways you could support your family. Or could your mother not get a job (even disabled people work) to build up some kind of work history in the country and therefore pass the next test?I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -

It's not like I turned up to London asking for benefits. I have been living here for 5 years... and you have to understand that there are families with 4 kids and there are families who are unable to work. So what do we do to those families in your opinion? Kill them all to save your tax money?0 -

I would suggest a visit to your local Citizens Advice."The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

You getting a job is the only way you will get round this. This is what people right throughout the thread are telling you. Your mother is not eligible otherwise. By you getting a job, you may help your mother and family stay here.
From what I can tell, you are young, able bodied and clever. They will not change the law for you or your circumstances - like I said in an earlier post, either you or your mother must get a job. I realise your mother is disabled but if she could get something a few hours, or part time, she would be classed as a worker and therefore her entitlement would return.
How can anyone help you if you won't listen?I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -

Have you considered returning to Germany and claiming benefits from the German government?Be happy, it's the greatest wealth
