True my other half bought a box of lego on ebay and it didn't turn up and the seller tried bullying her saying she couldn't claim anything. So she asked me and I basically started typing the replies.
I started nicely just saying its unfortunate the item has been lost and as you have said you can't send another can you please arrange a refund, of course I will co-operate fully when it comes for his claim with royal mail.
I then get another message basically saying we have the item and can prove it, to which I asked for any tracking information so I could chase it up with my local sorting office.
I then get a reply saying he doesn't need to give the tracking information to me.
I then just set the paypal claim rolling, to which he supplied a rubbish tracking number, I then won the case, to which he appealed and lost.
The moral of the story... all he did was earn himself a negative, by all means last time an time was lost the seller dealt with it correctly to which I left positive feedback and likewise I have earned myself positive feedback in dealing with lost item claims politely and quickly.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Thanks everyone! Dreading the police turning up at my door. I just reported her to Ebay for harrasing me (think she sent me like 15 emails over the past 6 days). Part of me wishes I'd just allowed it to escalate to Paypal as feel I would be better protected but never mind- done now plus I couldn't cope with her emailing me all the time she was so rude. She says she kept all my emails- which aren't incriminating so don't know why she's saying it as if I've done something I shouldn't but noticed she messed up and said she'd posted it one day and then in another message claimed to have posted it on a different day (the day she 1st emailed me demanding to know why I hadn't refunded her when she'd sent me the parcel- forgot RM did same day service!!!).0

Please don't be worried about the police turning up; it's not going to happen and even if it did (blue moon and all that), don't be afraid. I have had the odd person threaten to call the police and I always say go ahead...I refuse to be bullied and intimidated by people who use this ruse for their own ends. They are the kind of people who dial 999 to ask someone to change the channel on their tv.
These strange people (I think most sellers get them at some point) should just be ignored. And blocked.0 -
Thanks Byatt- I'm 5 months pregnant with complications could really do without the blinkin stress of it all- hopefully ebay will stop her from being able to contact me but won't hold my breath! x0
