De1amo -depression has many guises. Being efficient at work is maybe fine for your wife as it is like putting on a 'hat' - it's her role there. When she is with you, she can be her true self and maybe just can't cope with some of the tasks. Hope she gets on well at dr.

Uolypool - and another hug for yr ds from me too! My son's friend suffered with this too, it's an awful awful illness, as there are not outward signs there is often very little sympathy, ds's friend is slowly recovering now, and has passed his driving test and taking his A levels, he still can't play his beloved rugby or do a lot of other things, but he is improving and finding all sorts of ways to cope. I hope that your son improves in the future too xxx

    Morning all.
Hugs to those who need or want one.
Have chicken and lentils bubbling away in the SC for dh work lunch tomorrow.
He managed to hurt his ankle playing football last night ( he hurts himself often as he is 41 now, but plays footie 3 times a week with younger guys!!!), anyhoo, this time his ankle is swollen and he can hardly put any weight on it. I bandaged him up, gave him painkillers and he went off to work, but he has now taken himself off to A&E as it is even worse after a 30 mile drive.
JackieG Talking of football..... who won last night?

    Morning All ,

Brrrr chilly one today! Even though I don't feel the cold atm I was properly wrapped up against it on my way to work!

Not a great deal to report - my SIL did not produce my nephew so still on full alert for that! Can't wait!

Got some more training to do today at work, but other than that I am not going to strain myself! Tea tonight will be a lamb stew with dumplings and mash mmmmm, already hungry thinking about it

Have a great day, hugs to all in want/need xx

I agree. I was supercharged at work but just came home and went to bed. Now I was physically ill but i was very depressed as well. Depression takes on many forms and there is no rhyme nor reason. It sounds like she needs lots of unconditional love and the load at home taken off her. By your own admission you dont do much at home? Sorry if that's harsh x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Yes it is, he is still on a very part time timetable but that still exhausts him.No sports gets a lift to school and back at home he is so knackered ,it breaks my heart to see him like it.Life has dealt his a carp life medically so far he is 14 years old and so far he has had open heart surgery for a vsd hole in the heart, meningacoccal septicimia bronchal pneumonia and acute hepetitas excuse the spelling mistakes ;) and now he is fighting this .:(

More hugs from me too ;)

    Morning my lovelies :D

White cloud here, cold and breezy. Fed up now want a bit of warmer weather or at least some sunshine :(

It's world book day and DS has gone to school dressed as Iron Man. Well he's in Marvel Comics and that's a book isn't it ;) :rotfl: All the girls have gone in princess outfits from the looks of it. Lets face it at their age they're hardly reading stuff like Robinson Crusoe with a costume to match :rotfl:

Tea tonight will be a lasagne that I have to make this afternoon. Back is aching as I tossed and turned last night. Second night on the trot I haven't sleep very well. Bloomin' cat was a nusicanse trying to smother me too  she's going to be banished downstairs if she doesn't pack it in.

Bit of washing to complete and clean the bathroom this afternoon. How exciting is my life?!

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.

JackieG - well done on the weight-loss :T

rosie - Hope H's ankle is OK xx

Off to the garden again in a mo while its dry..still flippin' freezing tho.

Had a bit of shocking news last night re someone on the estate :( not nice at all, known this person for years, pillar of the community and all that...just shows you never really know what goes on behind closed doors.

Shepherds pie for dinner will need thawing out by then followed by a gut busting fruit cobbler and custard and probably a snooze after that lot

Hope everyone has a great day
