Disney Store - Still awaiting refund :(

I hope someone can help me.
I ordered some items from the Disney Store online, about 2 and a half months ago. They took the money from paypal, and charged me for items that were out of stock. It took a month for my delivery to arrive to check what had happened.
When my order arrived, I explained they had over charged me and asked why it took as long as it had. They said they would refund the missing items and postage. I was happy with this but no refund. I was told to wait a week, again no refund.
I called back and they said they had problems trying to talk to an actual human being at paypal and if I could wait until the following Tuesday, which I did but refund never arrived.
I was then offered a bank transfer a week ago, to which I agreed and they took my details, and read them back correctly. They emailed to confirm a refund had been processed.
I have checked my account and statements and I have not been refunded a week on. I know it's just a refund but it's starting to really get to me, I can't understand why it's so hard to return my money?
I really don't know where to go from here, I want to take this further as two and a half months of holding onto money for items they hadn't sent is unacceptable but I don't know who to take it further with.
What would you do? Any help is appreciated

send a letter before action, then file with the small claims courtOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

The amount they owe is just short of £20, which may not seem like alot but it all mounts up.
I shant get into the problems I have had with paypal and pending transactions for orders that companies have been unable to fulfill but the money is stuck in limbo *sigh*
Not sure that it would be worth my while taking it to court as it would cost more than the amount owed.Comping wishlist for 2017

Thank you for the suggestion, I feel I have wasted a fair amount of time to have the money returned, I don't have the energy to get into a full on war with them.
Is there any companies that I can take this further with? Or perhaps taking it further internally, do they have any beyond the callcentre complaints procedure? Can I contact a CEO or is it a waste of time.
I just don't understand why a refund has become such a challenge for them, surely they have to make refunds regularly?Comping wishlist for 2017

OP...Suggest you escalate or complain to Robert Iger, Disney CEO, via sending him an email to robert.a.iger@disney.com.
You should get a response within 3 working days.
Good luck and hope this helps.0 -

Census done, dusted so email addresses move on just for the pilgrims;):rotfl:.0 -
Shouldn't it be Mickey.Mouse@disney.com for the top bod?Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
