I would go for the continental approach: meats, cheeses, cocktail sausages, bread, crackers (get a packet of gluten-free ones too) and then a couple of Spanish omelettes.

It's been proven that the best food for a hangover is a bacon sandwich on white bread ;)

how about a sausage casserole? not far off a beef stew but sausages are easier on the pocket than beef... esp if you chop the sausages into chunks to stretch them out more :-) I usually brown mine off, cool a bit, slice into inch thick chunks, brown again on cut side if you want then bung into slow cooker with lots of garlic, onions, carrots, leeks, swede etc with some stock and a tin of baked beans at the end.. serve with mash or rice or just chunks of bread

    help ideas for party food

You could make a huge cooked breakfast/lunch and pre cook the bacon and sausages - so all you need to do is make some toast, throw some beans in the micro, and fry some mushrooms. You could add chips instead of toast?! With another option for the celiac of course.:)

    Ill merge ths later

    Zip :)

This one has cherry tomatoes in, but I've used a finely sliced fat leek in the past, or you could leave the bacon out for a nice veggie version?

This recipe is amazing! One of my all-time favourite easy recipes.
  • sausages or a fry up. Depends on how hungover you are

Actually she could if I used the Debbie and Andrew gluten free sausages that they now sell in Tesco - I actually prefer them to 'normal' ones and try and pick them up when on offer and keep in the freezer but good spot otherwise iamana1ias :D
