Hi,
I have come across this website below which displays all the households addresses and land line numbers in my street, mine is on there as well and I would like to get it removed from the site however I have not been able to find any contact details for the site and wondered if anyone on here as heard of it before? If so where they able to obtain contact details for the site?

I've found the contact details for this car sales site. Since they have my full name, post code and email address listed there - is there anything I can use to back up a request to have this removed?
I've never heard of this outfit - and looking at their page I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Its very concerning that they are allowed to publish peoples details on the internet without consent to do so for everyone to see. I have tried again this evening to find out who owns this site but have not been able to get any details at all.0

I'm ex-directory - and my email address wouldn't be in the phone book anyway.
That aside - the item on the website that findafriend pointed to was a "testimony" that I sure as heck didn't write for the company using it.

Hmmm...it seems quite out of date...just checked my old address & the person it's got listed died about 10 years ago...all the numbers on that street are still 01812016: No Clutter to Be Seen 805/2016

Not !nly are all the phone numbers 0181 for my postcode but the owners of our house according to this site actually moved out 17 years ago!0

It looks as though the "find" site looks for any on-line text which includes a post code and then quotes the relevant bit.
In my case I've realised that I was caught out by a polo mint!

A lo-o-ng time ago I found an interesting website and he had a challenge to make him laugh. If you did - you won a giant polo mint. And I did. And it arrived! So... umpteen years later I find my comment on that original site now used as a testimonial on a car site.
