Booking Flights

Can any one help..I wish to fly to San Fransisco. I can book the e tickets via a US company cheaper than booking direct with the airline in the UK.
If I do this will the tickets be valid for use ??

It's usually better to book with the airline unless the saving is big.

The US company will add in their terms and conditions as well as the airline's.

Nothing wrong with it in priciple. But check the terms and conditions of the site in the US to be sure they do not prohibit you from booking. For example, expedia.com (the US site) states:
Shoppers living in the United Kingdom who visit Expedia's U.S. site will not be able to purchase airline tickets or holidays

However, I have booked BA flights UK-US using Expedia.ca (Canada) and saved a fair amount of money. There was nothing saying I couldn't, there was an option to enter a non-Canadian credit card billing address, and my booking was live in BA's system within the usual time frame. My credit card was also billed directly by BA and not expedia.

The final thing to consider is that when you book through agents, then you cannot usually deal directly with the airline customer services, you must go via your agent. This is even the case if the airline changes your itinerary. So if you did need to ammend anything, you may need to be calling the USA to do so (this may the point cubegame is getting at above).

But nothing wrong with it in principle.
